Welcome to my Website. Your new Democratic Congress continues to fight for a new direction for America. As the proud Representative for New York’s 28th Congressional District and the Chairwoman of the House Committee on Rules, I’m proud to be playing an important rule in this new majority.

Since January we have implemented oversight and investigation abandoned on the Republicans, passed legislation through the House that will have a meaningful impact on everything from Global Warming to College Loan Relief. We have also been busy attempting to change the course of the disastrous war in Iraq and set a policy that will bring out troops home safely.
